Qarawat Bani Hassan

Also known as Burj al-Yaqur

A two-storey Frankish tower with a barrel-vaulted basement and associated medieval buildings in the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan in the central West Bank. It represents the kind of small rural stronghold held by secondary vassals of the kingdom.
