ar-Ram

Also known as al-Ram

Ar-Ram, a village on the old Jerusalem-Nablus road, had a substantial Frankish tower with a barrel-vaulted basement and an internal stair leading up to the upper floor. It belonged to the network of small strongpoints that policed the main north-south route through the central hill country.
